Episode 15: Back East Brewing Company

Last week we had a fun time interviewing Tony Karlowicz co-founder of Back East Brewing Company.  As many of you beer drinkers know there are micro breweries popping up everywhere and Back East Brewing has been one who has made a name for itself in Connecticut.  

We started off the podcast by tasting their Octoberfest beer, which was delicious, then got into hearing how Tony and his cousin Edward got their start in the brewing industry.  There are some gems of wisdom in this episode as Tony explains how to scale the business slowly and not to scale too fast.  

Tomorrow October 15th they will be having a book signing for their former head brewers new book ” The Comic Book Story of Beer” which is a fun book about the history of beer.  They will be signing books from 4-7 at their Tap room at 1296A Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield, CT.
